Skip to NavigationThese rules apply to the OUCS premises at 7-19 Banbury Road.
- Authorised users have access to the User Areas for the purposes of using the computers and other facilities,
or for consulting members of staff.
- Access to other parts of the premises is permitted only when accompanied by a member of staff.
- The senior member of OUCS staff present has formal charge of the premises and may take any reasonable action
he or she considers necessary to safeguard University property or the well-being of users and staff. This may include
closing the building, and/or requiring individuals to leave the premises.
- Users must not intentionally disrupt or interfere with the work of other users or members of staff.
- Children admitted to the premises must be under the control of an adult, and must not cause a nuisance to
users or staff.
- Pets and other animals (apart from guide dogs) may not be brought onto the premises without the express
permission of the Director or his deputy.
- Smoking is not permitted in any part of the User Areas.
- Eating and drinking may take place only in designated parts of the User Areas, namely the Users' Common Room
at 13 Banbury Road.
User Areas: Reception Area, Shop, Help Area, User Area, Users' Common Room, Lecture
Rooms (1, 2, 3 and 4), ground floor toilets and corridors linking these areas.
