Colleges' ICT Committee

Introduction

Since Trinity 2007, the Colleges IT Group has been renamed the Colleges' ICT Committee. All the information relating to the Colleges' IT Group, including all the papers and minutes from past meetings is still available on line from the side bar link Colleges' IT Group (old).

The CICTC will provide a framework that will promote and facilitate the full involvement of college ICT Staff in both the strategic development and day-to-day running of ICT in the University.

The committee meets each term to discuss the IT provision at college and university level and will communicate and promote the views and interests of college ICT Staff in the ICT Coordinated Decision Making structure

Each college and permanent private hall (PPH) has a representative on the committee who is appointed at the beginning of the academic year by their Head of House. This primary representative will normally be a member of the college's or PPHs Governing Body, involved in academic or administrative IT. Colleges and PPHs are welcome to send a second person who has a more intimate knowledge of computing matters.

Further details of the Constitution of the Colleges' ICT Committee and its workings may be obtained from the Secretary.
