projects: Groupware Programme
Groupware Programme Development Panel
The Microsoft Groupware solution has many capabilities that could be developed to provide the University with further online collaborative tools. A Groupware Programme Development Panel (GPDP) has been established to help develop the solution in line with the strategic goals of the University. The Groupware Programme Development Panel reports to the PRAC ICT sub-committee and its members are drawn from across the collegiate University.

- To serve as a forum for the collegiate University to coordinate developments to develop an advanced online collaborative environment for the collegiate University.

addressing whether funding should be sought and work undertaken to meet requirements specified but not included within the definition of the Groupware Project; collecting requirements from the collegiate University for Groupware services beyond those offered by the existing suite of applications, and prioritising new Groupware projects to be recommended to the Project Board. - To define an overall strategy for the deployment of SharePoint (with possible coordination across Higher Education).
- To interface with companies which wish to collaborate with Oxford in the development of a world-leading online collaborative environment, and to advise senior management on collaborations which would be most advantageous to the University.
