ICTF Information Security Advisory Group

An Advisory Group to the University's ICT Forum

The ICTF Information Security Advisory Group provides a communications framework that promotes and engages IT Support Staff in the management of Information Security throughout the Collegiate University.

It also promotes best practice for Information Security across the University and provides an impetus to identify concerns, suggestions, problems and solutions.

The Advisory Group is part of the University's ICT Forum (ICTF). The ICT Forum was established in 2007 as an outcome of the ICT Strategic Plan. It provides a framework to promote and facilitate the full involvement of ICT Staff in both the strategic development and day-to-day running of ICT within the University. It succeeded the IT Support Staff Group in 2007. Further information on the ICT Forum.

The Advisory Group is currently working with the Information Security Best Practice Project (ISBP) to draft an Information Security Policy for the collegiate University. Further information is available: Information Security Policy.
