The Office of the Director of IT website uses Google Analytics to evaluate how the site is used.

Google Analytics helps us to see which pages are most popular and which areas are of most interest to you. It does not provide any personal information about you and it cannot be used to identify an individual person.

Google Analytics uses cookies to gather the information for us. Cookies are pieces of data created when you visit a website; they are stored in the cookies directory of your computer. The cookie gathers information on how you use our website. It sends that information to Google and we access it through a password protected account. Only authorised members of our web team have access to the account.

The information gathered helps us to improve the website and is non-invasive but we understand that some visitors may not want cookies to be stored on their computer. If this is so, you may change the settings of your internet browser to not accept cookies (see Internet Explorer support and Firefox support). Alternatively Google offers an 'Opt-out Browser Add-on'.
